You are warmly invited to the International Society for Gerontechnology ISG 30 Years Jubilee Conference in Helsinki on 13–14 May 2027. In the Conference we highlight The Future of Aging – The Art of Gerontechnology.
The International Society for Gerontechnology was founded in 1997 in Helsinki. Now we return to where it all began, while looking boldly toward a promising future. The ISG Finnish Chapter has the honour of organising the event, in collaboration with Metropolia UAS.
What to expect?
Join us to hear high-level keynote speeches, explore the latest achievements in gerontechnology, and meet key actors and researchers from Finland and around the world. In Helsinki you will meet, among others, Dr Claudia Mahler, the UN Independent Expert on the Enjoyment of All Human Rights by Older Persons (2020–2026), as well as founding members of the Society and leading researchers from across the globe.
The conference programme has been designed to be exceptionally interactive: in addition to oral presentations, it will include innovative co-creation workshops and theme-based symposia. This is an excellent opportunity to initiate and develop international research consortia.
As a part of the Jubilee Conference, there will be VALLI association´s high-level, well-known event DigiAgeTalk. DigiAgeTalk will be held in Finnish.
Metropolia’s campus in Myllypuro offers an easily accessible and modern environment for the event.
